anchor1 · What we collect

On chimbuk.com: information you volunteer — the name, email, phone and project details you send through the contact form or email, and standard technical data (IP address, browser, referring page) that our hosting records in access logs for security purposes.

Currently the site sets no advertising or social-tracking cookies and runs no third-party analytics. If that changes (e.g. privacy-preserving analytics), this page is updated first and consent mechanisms are added where the law requires them.

In our own apps (Chimbuk Companion, Chimbuk Notes): we ask for Google sign-in where account features are used and store the minimum (identifier, email, your content). Privacy labels in each Play listing are the authoritative technical disclosure.

anchor2 · Why we use it

To reply to enquiries, scope and deliver projects, provide support, secure our services, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use client enquiry data for advertising.

anchor3 · Who else sees it

Processors bound by their own terms: Google (Firebase/Cloud — hosting, database and crash reporting for products and, in the backend phase, for form intake), our hosting/CDN provider, and email infrastructure. Each sees only the slice it operates. We never add trackers “because it's easy”.

anchor4 · Retention

Enquiries: kept while a conversation is active and up to 3 years after, for engagement history; deleted on reasonable request. Project records: per contract with each client. Logs: rolling, typically ≤ 30 days.

anchor5 · Your rights

Access, correction, deletion, portability, objection. Email support@chimbuk.com — we respond within the timeframe applicable law sets, and identity-verify first. Bangladesh has no single omnibus privacy act; we apply GDPR-grade practice as our house standard for everyone.

anchor6 · Children

Our study apps serve students; we collect no payment data in-app, keep account fields minimal, and design Play family-policy compliance into each release checklist.

anchor7 · Changes & this document

Material changes get a dated note here (and an in-app notice where users would care). This policy is the studio's house policy drafted for publication — the owner's counsel should confirm local-law details before the marketing phase sign-off; treat any gaps as drafting questions, not surprises.
